When he's not busy writing insurance policies, you're likely to find Ron Weaver out hiking a remote Tahoe trail, participating in a Rotary meeting, or perhaps backpacking in South America.

For over 33 years, Ron Weaver has been an agent with State Farm Insurance, assisting clients with personal insurance needs, like auto, homeowner's, fire, and more.

Weaver doesn't see it as a sales job. "I've spent 33 years taking care of people," he says. "I like to think that I offer something more personal than an insurance product. It's service-the way it used to be."

A Reno native with a long history of community service, it's no wonder that 80% of his business comes by referral. Weaver actively volunteers his time as a Rotarian, Shriner, and a Mason. He has also combined his love for the outdoors as a board member for the Tahoe Rim Trail Foundation. His success with State Farm has allowed him to travel around the world, and he enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, and even participating in a recent triathlon.

Integra Telecom has been a part of Ron Weaver's support network for over a decade now. "I liked their sales presentation initially," says Weaver. "My business is reliant on local lines and long distance, and their price and service quality were the early attraction. In the mid-90's, I was willing try anyone BUT the carrier I was with at the time."

It's been a great relationship. "Even as the company has grown and evolved, I've never encountered billing issues or service outages. At one point, for a brief time, I went back to a major carrier. That was a major mistake and I couldn't wait to return."

Weaver says, "I'll never leave Integra--even if my wife goes to work for one of their competitors!"
