Newman Long Term Care became an industry leader by anticipating a couple important trends. Newman LTC specializes exclusively in long-term care insurance, which protects against unexpected disabilities or long-term illnesses that threaten peace of mind, financial stability, and quality of care. Founder Debra Newman has focused on this area since 1990, and has become a nationally-renowned speaker, writer, advisor, educator and expert in long-term care issues.
Licensed in 49 states, Newman Long Term Care represents 10 leading carriers for long-term care insurance. Through the brokerage side of their business, they provide logistical support, education and training to agents throughout the country. Newman LTC also has eight Professional Partners that consult with financial planners, attorneys, accountants, independent agents and also work directly with clients.
Supporting literally thousands of agents in the brokerage field, Newman LTC places a high value on telecommunications service and support. They became an Integra customer in 2002, after many frustrating years with the local telephone monopoly, and then a short stint with a competitive carrier that did not deliver on their promise and eventually pulled out of the market. Debra recalls, "I thought I had done my research well but was disappointed. Integra had been my second choice and I wish I had made that decision years ago." Newman LTC now relies on an Integra T1 product for local, long distance, and high-speed Internet access.
